‘This will serve as a testimonial to a Perth/Albany return journey I made on October 23rd/24th 2010.
I purchased my Sym Le Grande 200cc scooter from Scootamoto-Central situated at 9 Main St Osborne Park WA on Sept 24th after trading in my Sym Orbit 125.
After an initial run in period and a first service I chose to ride the scooter from Perth to Albany which is a round trip run of some 800kms. The scooters performance was exceptional. I was able to cruise along the flat roads at a comfortable 110/115kph and each rise I encountered however steep, my speed never dropped below 100kph.
Obviously with no long range fuel tank fitted if you leave Perth with a full tank another two fuel stops are necessary and on my run these were at North Bannister and Kojonup. The comfort of the ride was no problem with room to put your feet up and stretch back. This scooter is easy to ride and just what I need to get from A to B.
I have now since my Albany trip ridden my Le Grande back from Margaret River after securing it on the back of my daughters ute and driving her car to Margaret River for delivery to her. Travel time was 3 hours.
I know this two wheeler is not designed for country trips, but it's nice to know I can do it if I so choose.

She carefully explained to me the various scooter options available to me, including make, model, engine size, colour etc. She also advised me about tailoring my choice of scooter to both my riding needs and to my safety. They know me at Scootamoto and welcome me each time I visit. I always have my scooter serviced there and am very happy with the way it continues to perform.
